Emirates airline has announced plans to launch four flights between Dubai and Cairo later this month to help repatriate Egyptian citizens stranded from home.
The flights will operate on June 14, 18, 19 and 21, while customers can also use it as a connection from any destination on Emirates’ current network of 30 across the GCC, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
A statement from the Dubai-based carrier said: “Only Egyptian citizens and those who meet the entry requirements of the destination will be allowed to board. Passengers will be required to comply with all requirements of the destination country.”
Passengers are advised to arrive at Terminal 3 three hours before departure, while check-in counters will only process passengers holding confirmed bookings.
The statement added: “Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.”
