The latest package from telecom company du aims to give the UAE’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) a quick, easy and affordable route to installing an office communications system.
The new product, Office Connect, has been developed on the basis that connectivity, whether through internet or landline, is a must-have for any new business.
It provides customers with a free Wi-Fi router and a SIM card, and benefits from its popular Business Super Plan.
Customers will also receive free national and international minutes, free SMS and a free data allowance every month, with a 50 percent discount on calls to colleagues.
Small companies with up to eight employees will be eligible to use the same data plan, shared between them, giving extra benefit to SMEs who are looking to save money and streamline their operations.
The Wi-Fi router supports both voice and broadband services, can be plugged in anywhere in the office and will feature four ports, to which customers can connect devices such as laptops and printers.
Its wireless 3G connection speed goes up to 21Mbps, and the package includes a strong firewall to protect a customer’s network.

Office Connect prices start at AED300 ($81) per month, with twelve different packages available to meet the needs of the various SME segments.
