A $4.1 million yellow diamond necklace was unveiled as part of Dubai International Jewellery Week at the weekend.
The necklace’s high price is largely based on its 50 carat yellow diamond centre piece – worth a staggering $3 million on its own.
The additional $1.1 million accounted for the diamonds around the centre piece, which amount to 45 carats in total.
Mahallati Jewellery, a UAE-based company, is the diamond producer and retailer behind the necklace.
While the company produced its diamonds in Bangkok, its retail stores are spread across the UAE.
Dubai International Jewellery Week took place on December 9 – 12 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The annual event hosted over 100,000 different jewellery in diamond, gold, pearl, and coloured gemstones amongst others.
