DAMAC Properties announced record-breaking sales of over AED 10 billion with over 3,100 units sold from the recently launched DAMAC Islands development within 10 hours.
The project, launched in November, featured a high-profile marketing campaign that included globally acclaimed celebrities such as Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, boxing champion Amir Khan, football coach John Terry, and Lebanese actress Nadine Njeim.
Located in Dubailand, DAMAC Islands represents the company’s sixth master development. The project draws inspiration from renowned island destinations, featuring six distinct clusters: Maldives, Bora Bora, Seychelles, Hawaii, Bali, and Fiji.
Hussain Sajwani, Founder and Chairman of DAMAC Properties said, “This unprecedented sales achievement reflects the market’s confidence in Dubai, in our vision and the unique appeal of DAMAC Islands. We remain committed to delivering exceptional projects that meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
The launch comes against a backdrop of strong market performance. In 2023, DAMAC introduced three master communities to its portfolio, addressing the growing demand for community living. The developer now manages nearly 250 million sq ft of master community development.
Market forecasts for 2025 remain optimistic. The UAE economy is expected to grow by 5 per cent, with Dubai’s real estate market showing particular resilience. The first half of 2024 saw real estate transactions exceed AED 230 billion, representing a more than 25 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
