Saudi nationals can now obtain 10-year visas, instead of up to five, in the US, the Saudi Press Agency has reported.

The joint announcement was made during Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia, where both countries also saw a number of deals and investments across various sectors.

“Facilitating legitimate travel contributes significantly to both of our countries’ economies, builds and strengthens ties between our people and businesses, and increases mutual understanding between US and Saudi citizens,” the Saudi press office said.

Earlier this year, both countries introduced the Interview Waiver Program where Saudi citizens over 50 years old who are renewing their visitor visas can apply for a waiver of the in-person interviews.
