Saudi Arabia has reviewed plans for the 2024 budget as it forecasts revenues of SR1.172tn ($312.5bn).
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held in Riyadh on Wednesday, December 4 on the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 1445/1446 Hijri (2024).
The Cabinet reviewed the items of the budget and issued its decision regarding the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 1445/1446 Hijri (2024).
Saudi 2024 budget
The plans include:
- Revenues are estimated at SR1.172tn ($312.5bn)
- Expenditures to be at SR1.251tn ($334bn)
- Deficit is estimated at SR79bn ($21bn)
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques directed the ministers and officials to actively commit to implementing the development and social programs and projects included in the budget.
