Saudi Arabia’s GDP grows by 5.4% in Q4, 2022

The country’s real GDP during 2022 grew by 8.7 percent compared to the previous year, according to flash estimates by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics

Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth during the fourth quarter of 2022 grew by 5.4 percent vis-à-vis the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Saudi Arabia’s real GDP during 2022 grew by 8.7 percent compared to the previous year, according to flash estimates by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

The data showed the real GDP of oil activities grew by 6.1 percent during the fourth quarter of the year 2022, compared to the same year-ago quarter, while that for the whole of 2022 grew by 15.4 percent compared to the previous year.

The real GDP of non-oil activities grew by 6.2 percent in Q4 and that for the whole year increased by 5.4 percent compared to the corresponding year-ago periods.

The report showed that the seasonally adjusted real GDP increased by 1.5 percent during the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the third quarter of 2022.
