The fourth meeting of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority permanent ministerial preparatory committee, being held in Riyadh on Monday, November 7, is to discuss several economic and development issues, besides the region’s economic unity projects.
The current meeting is seen as a step toward achieving the GCC customs union and common market milestones to achieve GCC economic unity.
The Monday meeting will also review the results of the statistical survey to measure the implementation of Gulf Joint Actions, and the main indicators of economic development in GCC countries.
The meeting, chaired by Saudi minister of economy and planning Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim, will see the participation of all members of the committee.
