Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States after taking the oath for a new four-years term and succeeding the outgoing President Joe Biden.
The inauguration ceremony for the 47th President of the United States took place inside the Capitol building, with the presence of former US Presidents, a large crowd of members of Congress, diplomats, businessmen, and members of Trump’s electoral campaign.
Trump returns to the White House for a second term after his first term from 2017 to 2021.

In a rousing first speech, the new president said: “The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world.
“We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer during every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first.
“America’s decline is over.”
Former presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W Bush were all present at the ceremony.
