The event, graced by the presence of distinguished figures such as Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, underscored the pivotal role of family in shaping individuals, societies, and the world at large. The resounding message is clear: amidst the whirlwind of technological advancement, globalisation, and environmental challenges, it is the bonds of family that can provide solace, strength, and a sense of belonging.
Upholding family values
The values of the family, often regarded as the invisible threads weaving the fabric of society, stand as pillars of culture and identity. If family members nurture and support each other then there can be a reciprocal exchange of love and wisdom – a timeless principle encapsulated in the “circle of care.” Across generations, elders, among their many contributions, can offer invaluable knowledge and important traditions while younger members infuse vitality and innovation, creating a symbiotic relationship that strengthens familial bonds. Scientific studies further reinforce the benefits of family ties, highlighting their positive impact on longevity and mental well-being.
