Ajay Bhatia is chairman of Bhatia Brothers, which dates back more than 60 years. The UAE-based firm has operations across the GCC as well as Iraq, India, Singapore and parts of Europe. The company has three main divisions: engineering and industrial; consumer products; and investments and real estate. Its hotels include the Ajman Beach Hotel, the Ajman Kempinski Hotel & Resort and the Pearl Hotel in Umm Al Quwain.
Bhatia has played a key role in establishing the company’s success. He believes in education and speaking out on issues related to non-Indian residents (NRIs). The company takes a customer-comes-first approach and is looking at expanding its business reach.
