One look at Khurshid Vakil’s stores and you’ll find there is little fault with his high-end merchandise, something he credits to his “understanding” of customers’ likes and dislikes. But that is not the only benefit of the retail magnate’s persona. His ambition has seen double-digit growth year-on-year as he set up shops in the GCC and beyond.
