Many of the most recognisable locally produced brands at the supermarket are the work of IFFCO Group. With nearly 40 years in the fast-moving consumer goods market, the family business established by the late Abdul Razak Allana, has a strong portfolio of brands that boast leading market shares, including London Dairy, Rahma, Tiffany and Noor.
The group is now run by brothers Feroz (pictured), Irfan and Shiraz and has spread globally, with its products available across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, West Asia, the Far East, Australia and the US.
London Dairy has been one of the group’s biggest successes after buying the licence in 2000. Together with Igloo, IFFCO Group continued to lead the ice cream market in the UAE last year, with an increased retail share to 39 percent, according to Ken Research. The success of London Dairy has also seen the launch of branded cafes in Bahrain and the UAE.
As well as food-related products, IFFCO Group has businesses in packaging, chemicals, sales and distribution.
