Despite being founded way back in 1900, the Nahas Group is a new entry in this year’s
Arabian Business

Top 50 Richest Arabs. Its main driving force throughout its 107-year history, however has always remained the same: to fulfil market needs with quality products and services.

Now in its third generation, that policy has also remained a constant and ensured continuous successes that placed Nahas Enterprises Group in the ranks of large and diversified business groups in Syria and the larger region.

Today, the group consists of 33 companies with a total of 1500 executives and employees. It has over 20 companies in the trade and services sector including the franchises for Volvo and Peugeot cars and trucks; two in travel and tourism under its own group name; and two hotels and resorts including the Al Sayedah Zeinab Company.

Founded in 1988, partners in the venture include distinguished Syrian, Kuwaiti, Lebanese, Saudi Arabian, and Iranian businessmen in addition to the Management Committee of Al Sayedah Zeinab Shrine. The objective of the company is to establish a fully integrated tourism complex, comprising a deluxe hotel, elegant apartments, a wide variety of facilities, and a large shopping mall.

The complex is located opposite to Al Sayedah Zeinab Shrine, Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) granddaughter. The shrine serves not just as a holy site for all Muslims, but also a valuable and significant historical place of interest which tourists from all over the world visit round the year. One of the ongoing goals of Nahas Enterprises Group and chairman Saeeb Nahas is to consolidate the company’s existing activities and simultaneously establish new relations with carefully selected partners.
