The demolished property was to be replaced with “an exciting new project”, according to Jebel Ali International Hotels, the management firm behind Oasis Beach Hotel.

Renderings for the new tower were widely circulated, despite concerns that the height of the property would block the beach views of existing tenants in Dubai Marina.

To date, no progress appears to have been made on the site.
