Munib Masri is the patriarch of one of the most influential Palestinian families. The 70-year-old tycoon, who hails from the West Bank town of Nablus and was once touted to be the first Palestinian prime minister, is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin in the US. His wealth is rooted in the oil and gas business, but many of his investments fall under the Edgo Group, his holding company based in London, which operates in contracting, industrial development, trading, distribution and representation, project development, operation and maintenance.
