The company’s founder was the late Ahmad Saeed Basamh, who despite his early age had already accumulated expertise in food handling and distribution in Jeddah.

That experience was to prove invaluable and provide the very foundation of Basamh Trading’s incredible growth.

It rapidly secured exclusive distribution agreements with major multinational corporations including Nestle, Buitoni, SC Johnson and Goody, and so began to sell everything from vermicelli to tomato ketchup and breakfast cereal, and basic household products across the Kingdom.
