Deepak Khullar was appointed executive vice president and group chief financial officer at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) in August 2008 and is also a Board member of a number of the group’s subsidiaries. Prior to joining ADCB, Deepak spent the last fifteen years with Standard Chartered Bank in the Middle East and South Asia region and Korea and his last position was EVP and chief financial officer of Standard Chartered First Bank, Korea Ltd. During his career, Deepak has held various positions in Finance, Technology and Operations, Risk Management, Audit, and has championed several initiatives in service quality and customer experience. Deepak also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and integration having led two of the largest acquisitions of Standard Chartered in Korea and in the Middle East and South Asia region.
