Area manager Middle East for Larsen & Toubro Naganathan has had a good year. Larsen & Toubro Limited is a technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company. Founded over seven decades ago, it has built a reputation for strong management and high quality. It has been heavily involved in several major GCC projects, including the Waterfront development in Dubai. Last month it reported a 32 percent rise in quarterly profit, beating market estimates, on the back of a pickup in order execution. Net profit rose to ($173 million) from $127 million rupees a year ago. Total income rose to $2 billion rupees from $1.73 billion.
