Wego is dual headquartered in Singapore and Dubai. Hmedan runs the business from the Dubai office, driving revenue and market growth in the MENA and leads the region’s operations. He brings a wealth of experience in the travel and tourism industry and is an active speaker, representing the company in the region’s leading travel and tourism events.

Hmedan launched Wego’s operations in the region in 2013 and expanded the company’s footprint to MENA and India. Prior to that, he established the advertising sales unit and was the acting GM for the MENA. His vast experience along with his strong leadership skills and significant multinational experience brings in new dynamism to the company. Hmedan’s solid background with sales operations, retail, e-commerce and thorough understanding of the importance of partners is profound and has helped the company become the largest online travel marketplace.

Prior to joining Wego, Hmedan held different senior roles and implemented growth strategies at some of the well-known start-ups in the digital space in the region.
