As a founding partner of Astrolabs, the region’s premier co-working space, Lebbos helps aspiring entrepreneurs scale their businesses globally, through financial and educational support and through classes focused on teaching digital skills via Astrolabs Academy.
AstroLabs has been growing the innovation economy in the region by supporting hundreds of global ventures and entrepreneurs with local business licensing and coworking at its network of collaborative spaces in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As of the last quarter of 2020, AstroLabs has helped over 60 companies enter the Saudi market, with a combined value of over $5 billion. Close to 50 percent of these companies were coming from the UAE.
Prior to Astrolabs, Lebbos co-founded Namshi, an e-commerce portal for the Middle East which saw business grow exponentially during the coronavirus pandemic last year.
Early in his career, Lebbos worked with global consultancy firm McKinsey& Company and Eaton Corporation, a power management technologies and services-company based in Ireland.
Lebbos has an MBA in General Management, Strategy, from Harvard University and a Bachelors in Science in Electric Engineering from North Carolina State University.
