Banali Malhotra presides over the marketing division of one of the region’s largest banks, a position she has held for over five years, a culmination of over 15 years with the bank.
Amongst her successes are campaigns that have garnered acclaim, including the RAKfoodie Campaign, the launch of RAKBANK’s Emirates Skywards World Elite Mastercard Credit Cards, the launch of SwatchPAY and a rebranding of RAKBANK Elite.
Her success, she says, is down to punching above her weight, a mindset she encourages in her team.
“When I was brought on board, RakBank was a lesser-known local retail bank. Over the years, I worked closely with the management and the agency in leading the brand’s journey from a local challenger brand to a dominant retail brand in the UAE. We increased our share of voice by developing a brand personality that cuts through the clutter.”
