- Printing
Our legacy print business continues to shine with innovative products and a broad portfolio. Consumers are scrambling for our recently introduced HP Sprocket, a pocket sprinter that enables instant printing from mobile devices. Our acquisition of Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd’s printer business expands our leadership in the A3 business market, while our LaserJet printers continue to push the industry with printer speeds 15 to 20 percent higher than others in the class. Our recently introduced sub-$100 LaserJet printer is one of the smallest printers every delivered.
Our PageWide printers have disrupted the $55bn copier category with their speed and effectiveness, as well as their ability to reduce the printing carbon footprint by 44 percent, while using 75 percent less energy and 95 percent less packaging waste. HP Instant Ink is one of the fastest-growing web-based subscription services, with the ability to save HP customers up to 70 percent in costs. It too, reduces the environmental impact via higher capacity cartridges that use less packaging and recycling envelopes for used cartridges.
