Founded in 1973, the National Bank of Oman (NBO) was the first local bank to be established in the sultanate and remains one of the country’s largest banks. NBO has over 60 branches and 173 ATMs across Oman, as well as regional branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
NBO reported full year profits of OR51m ($132.47m) in 2018. The bank recorded assets of RO3.58bn ($9.3bn) in 2018.
