Makki’s career started in Lebanon, where she hosted a fashion programme for young people. She moved to Dubai in 2004 as a reporter at Dubai One, where she has interviewed the likes of Angelina Jolie, Karl Lagerfeld, and Prince Harry.
Makki added another string to her bow last year – turning beauty entrepreneur with the launch of her own collection of eyelashes in collaboration with iShimmer.
