Having graduated summa cum laude from the American University of Dubai and with a master’s degree in international business from London, Ghosn worked in the corporate arena at the likes of Wunderman, Y&R, Emirates Lebanon Bank and Pragma Group before finally deciding to open his own start-up three years ago.

That was Nomadic Capital, which was established to introduce a range of innovative solutions to the GCC by either incubating potentially successful ideas or creating new businesses of its own – including those in the emerging cryptocurrency space. The business recently received the International Business Excellence Award for best innovation in food and beverage, and was a finalist in the 2017 Gulf Capital SME Awards.One of its mobile apps, Pushdot, has been described as one of the top 50 start-ups to watch in the UAE and won a host of regional awards.
