Zainab Salbi has dedicated her life to women’s rights, and is the author of several books about the plight of women in warfare.
Salbi is the founder of Women for Women International and was its CEO from 1993 to 2011, helping female war survivors rebuild their lives by giving them access to social opportunities. She has been the executive editor and host of the PBS show #MeToo, Now What?, a series about sexual harassment and assault issues.
