Rodrigue Nacouzi is the founder of innovative concepts in the region, ranging from smart logistics solutions to last-mile delivery companies, earning him nominations for some of the most prestigious awards, including Top Five SMEs of the year to Top 10 GCC Entrepreneurs of the year.

His most cherished project is Transcorp Intl, a specialised last-mile delivery company for temperature controlled boxes. Launched in 2013, the company is now the market leader in the UAE with more than 100 vehicles running 24/7 and delivering more than 4,000 boxes on daily basis – and now accounting for 55 percent market share.

In a little over five years, Transcorp has changed the last-mile delivery concept in Dubai, making it hassle-free for end-users through its innovative technology and processes. No more phone calls from call centres and no more waiting time at home or in the office, end-users can choose one of five delivery windows while pinning their addresses to the platform. With a success ratio of 97.80 percent, end-users can reschedule their deliveries with a single click.

In his role as CEO, Nacouzi is responsible for conceptualising new and resourceful delivery programmes for the benefit of the start-ups and SMEs. He spends most of his time cultivating the culture of outsourcing among the new players as well as the established players in town. He is a firm believer that with the right strategic partnerships companies will get access to better expertise, flexibility and profitability.

His latest project is Gourmet-Hub, a concept designed to help millennial food entrepreneurs overcome the aggregate launch costs by supporting them to succeed locally while offering them regional reach. The Hub will provide shared kitchens and private studios along with open space offices, events areas and retail zones. On top of that, the Hub will act as online incubator for the all the food merchants in the Emirates making it a one-stop shop for the foodiesin town.

Along with the space, assets, marketing and the e-commerce offerings, Gourmet-Hub will provide its merchants B2B and B2C last mile delivery and storage solutions covering all aspects a food entrepreneur requires.

Nacouzi’s great passion is bringing young talents on board, assisting them to unlock their potential and become future executives and entrepreneurs. His major achievement was designing last mile solutions for young companies and entrepreneurs in the UAE that well-placed them in the major leagues. He is also very active in charities and grassroots social programmes and is supporting, via Transcorp Intl, the collection of food waste on behalf of the UAE Food Bank and giving it to charities.
