It is no easy task to deliver Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020, but Helal Al Marri has been up to the task. While the vision includes a goal to attract 20 million visitors a year by 2020, Al Marri has succeeded in attracting a growing number of tourists despite falling hotel revenues and global currency fluctuations. He has also served as CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) since 2004 and helped boost Dubai’s profile as a global MICE hub.
