He started the firm as a small mail order business for TVs and typewriters in 1970, growing it into a $550m wholesale electronics giant across Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. Despite heading Jacky’s Group for 45 years, he is as involved as ever, often referring to the phrase, “Players keep on changing, but business is always young.” In 2013, he partnered with Samsung, opening branded stores across the UAE.
