The self-described perfectionist from Kashmir started his career at a US Fortune 100 company before leaving the corporate world to launch Marina Home Interiors alongside two brothers in 1997. Within a year of its founding, the UAE-based firm reaped the fruits of Dubai’s real estate boom, which prompted thousands to adorn their homes with furniture. Today, the brand has stores across the MENA region, Pakistan and India.
