Campbell Gray

Company: Faithful+Gould Middle East

Designation: Managing director

Campbell Gray is a very busy man, currently overseeing a wide variety of jobs from a project, programme and cost management function.

These include the King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai, Doha Festival City in Qatar; Shaza Kempinski hotel in Doha, Shaza Kempinski Wave development in Oman, a Four Seasons Hotel and a Fairmont Hotel both in Abu Dhabi; and Muscat and Qurum City Centre malls in Oman.

It is also developing a suite of Standard Forms of Contract for Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar, for its procurement programme in Qatar and establishing a Project Management Office for Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works.

“In the last few years we have grown with a more diverse workload, providing more project management consultancy services in addition to cost management. We’ve extended beyond the current infrastructure focus (aviation, rail and energy) with an additional focus in property (hospitality, leisure, retail and mixed-use) and social infrastructure markets,” explained Gray.

“We’ve been encouraged by the appetite of our global clients for delivering significant work programmes and world-class projects, for which they require project and programme management help, such as Shell, Rolls Royce, GSK, Coca Cola and Exxon Mobil. We’re focusing on an integrated project management approach to support our clients, by maintaining the highest possible standards and driving best practice.”
