Vasanth Kumar co-founded Arabian MEP in 1997 along with his chairman Ali Ibrahim Al Malki. He is the company’s CEO, as well as holding the same role within the wider Al Malki Holding Group, which also contains business units involved in facilities management, real estate and in manufacturing of equipment. Kumar is still driving the business forward. The list of current projects includes four hospitals at Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City, the ongoing 43-storey Pearl Qatar Gateway Tower, the new Lulu Hypermarket, a fitness centre at Katara and Phase II of the Kahramaa power expansion programme, consisting of 22 substations of various configurations.
