Oliver Plunkett has just been installed as the new Middle East managing director for Buro Happold, replacing Roger Nickells, who has been promoted to the role of CEO at the UK-based consulting practice. However, he is not new to the region, having joined the practice in 2010 to lead its Saudi Arabian office. The firm is currently engaged in landmark projects in the Kingdom, such as the King Abdul Aziz Centre for World Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Institute for Diplomatic Studies, Atturaif Historic Restoration and the King Abdullah Financial District project.
