Meraas Holding is one of the main players in Dubai’s hospitality and retail sectors. Under the leadership of HE Abdulla Ahmed Mohammed Al Habbai, the group is developing one of the biggest projects in Dubai, Jumeirah Gardens, worth a massive $89.5bn that is set to be complete by 2021.
With over 20 years of experience in property, including 16 years at Dubai Municipality focusing on urban planning, Al Habbai is no stranger to implementing plans that transform Dubai’s landscape. Earlier this year, Meraas launched The Beach on JBR.
It is also continuing to build City Walk, the mixed-use retail and leisure project in Jumeirah and a $544.5mn plan to transform Dubai Creek.
More recently, the developer signed a deal last month to bring the first Bulgari-branded hotel to Dubai, which will be on the offshore Jumeirah Islands project.
This is not to mention the $1.6bn Bluewaters Island, which will include the world’s biggest ferris wheel, the Dubai Eye.
