Aster Pharmacy and Spinneys have partnered in a new joint venture to launch a wellness concept – Zest Pharmacy in Abu Dhabi. The high-end pharmacy will combine modernity, nature and eco-friendly practices.
Inaugurated by Alisha Moopen, Deputy Managing Director – Aster DM Healthcare; N S Balasubramanian, Chief Executive Officer – Aster Retail; Sunil Kumar, Chief Executive Officer – Spinneys and Tariq Albwardy, Director – Albwardy Investment, the pharmacy will offer free in-store analysis including vitamin checks, hair analysis, skin analysis and more. The results of these tests will then be used to recommend relevant supplements and healthcare products.
Over 25 Zest Pharmacy stores are set to be established in the country within the next two years. In addition to standalone stores, Spinneys and Waitrose outlets will have Zest Wellness sections.
The wellness pharmacy will have a team of dedicated health and wellness experts to offer advice to visitors. A wide range of certified products in several categories including skincare, nutrition, cosmetics and more will be available to customers.

The current store is located in Waitrose, Khalifa City and contains a blend of modern and natural wellness focused products.
