Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling has introduced a 500-piece limited edition series, the Bentley GT ‘Dark Sapphire’, to the Middle East.
The new launch consists of 25 models inspired by the new Bentley Continental GT recently revealed by the British manufacturer.
The vehicle boasts a new and enhanced 6-litre W12 TSI engine, state-of-the-art on-board equipment and hand-crafted interior.
Similarly, the Breitling watch has an ultra-light chassis made of Breitlight – the brand’s material famous for being six times lighter than steel – boosted by blue ‘Dark Sapphire’ tints.
The watch’s movement, developed entirely by Breitling, boasts a “30-second chronograph” system inspired by a 1926 Breitling patent that ensures accurate readings of times to the nearest eight of a second.
The watch’s dial also features a diamond motif that mirrors the pattern featured in several areas of the Continental GT interior and dashboard controls.
Commenting on the new model, Aed Adwan, Breitling Middle East said: “Bentley is redefining the quintessence of Grand Touring by providing a blend of luxury and performance that is more potent than ever.
Breitling for Bentley marks the occasion by launching a limited-edition model which reflects the spirit of this new road going champion. Its subtly black streaked effect takes on a bluish shimmer which echoes the colour of the Bentley “Dark Sapphire” livery.”
Adwan expects the model to be popular among Middle East customers due to its exclusivity.
