e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, entered a multi-year strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management as a founding partner of Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, WAM reported.
Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the biggest sporting event in the Middle East, and will take place from November 17 to 22, this year at the emirate’s Yas Marina Circuit.
“Our multi-year strategic partnership with such a premium global brand offers us multiple opportunities to not only build new relationships and enhance customer experiences but also to seal our brand positioning as the global technology and investment conglomerate that digitally empowers societies,” e&’s group chief executive officer Hatem Dowidar said.
Dowidar added: “The event will allow us to explore possibilities that will elevate the visitor experience in most innovatively at Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.”
American rapper, Kendrick Lamar, and house music supergroup, Swedish House Mafia will headline during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. Two more premium global artists will be announced over the coming weeks.
Formula 2 and Formula 4 UAE will once again feature in the on-track schedule, WAM said, adding the event will also see a special edition of historic F1 cars on the track.
