Microsoft Devices on Sunday announced the mid-range handset, the Lumia 830, is now on sale in the UAE, with a starting price of AED1,499 ($408).
Features include wireless charging, optimised image stabilisation for the camera, and personal wellness monitoring tools such as SensorCore.
The 830’s 10-megapixel PureView camera includes ZEISS optics, rich recording, and the Lumia range’s “thinnest optical image stabilisation system to date”, according to Microsoft Devices.
The handset runs Windows Phone 8.1 and users have access to Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Office with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, out of the box.
“With PureView imaging, wireless charging and wealth of other great features, the Lumia 830 delivers the best innovations and experiences from our flagship smartphones at a more affordable price, underscoring Microsoft’s commitment to offer a competitive Windows Phone experience for everyone,” said Jon French, vice president , Microsoft Devices Middle East.
The Lumia 830 is expected to be available in UAE at all leading electronic retail outlets in a range of colours including bright orange, bright green, white and black.
