The Gumball 3000 supercar rally is coming to the Middle East for the first time.

With a line-up of celebrity drivers and more than 100 elite supercars the world-famous Gumball 3000 is set to take to the streets in the UAE and Oman.

The Gumball 3000 will arrive in Dubai’s Burj Park where around 100 supercars and hi-spec sports cars will gather under the shadow of the Burj Khalifa. From Dubai, on November 13, the Gumball 3000 procession will head to Jebel Akhdar in Oman.

The drivers will travel to Salalah and Muscat in Oman and before returning to the UAE with a coastal drive to Ras Alkhaimah.

The Gumball 3000 will end up in Abu Dhabi before the F1 arrives at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Gumball 3000 attracts celebrity drivers

Founded by British race car driver Maximillion Cooper Gumball 3000 events are famous for attracting high-performance supercars and celebrity drivers.

Previous contestants in the luxury motoring procession have been Lewis Hamilton, David Hasselhoff and Snoop Dogg.

Among the supercars already announced for the Gumball Rally 3000 in the Middle East are a Mercedes GT Black Series, a Maclaren 765LT, a Ferrari F8 Tributo, a Lamborghini Huracan Evo and a Bugatti Divo.

Sure to be one of the most concentrated collections of supercars in the world, the Gumball 3000 has also named some of the celebrity drivers set to get behind the wheel in the Middle East. Names already announced include Jodie Kidd, Amir Khan, Yung Filly and French Montana.

Dubai is no stranger to supercars and high-spec motoring.

Earlier this year motorsport consultancy Pole Position Group launched an exclusive club for supercar owners in the UAE. The P1 Supercar Life is specifically for the “most selective supercar enthusiast,” the company said.

Members of the club will have access to a custom-made automotive and motorsports destination that will open next year, in addition to a calendar of luxurious events including circuit racing and VIP tours.
