Dubai will witness its first Open Dance International Championship taking place on December 9-10 at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai.
Igor Gutovsky, vice president of the Professional Division of Russian Dance Sport Federation and Larisa Davydova, 7time Russia champion, will be presenting the event.
The championships will feature over 600 dancers from 25 countries including Italy, France, Russia, Germany, America, China and Australia.
It will include 14 age categories in two dance style, European Ballroom and Latin American.
The event is expected to become an annual occurrence in the UAE Sports and Cultural Events Calendar in order to bring more international dancers into the region.
The Open Dance International Championship is organised by the World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF) and Dance Zone Company Dubai.
