Dubai-based Dulsco Group has announced the launch of its second intake of the Dulsco Graduate Training Programme, as part of its commitment to Emiratisation and providing a pathway to non-traditional private sector employment for Emirati graduates.
The 12-month scheme, launched in January 2023, aims to equip UAE national graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the private sector.
Ahmed Hasan, Dulsco’s Emiratisation Manager, hired 26 UAE national employees over a period of two months, adding to a total of 86 Emirati team members currently employed at Dulsco. “Dulsco’s Emiratisation efforts go beyond mere statistics,” he said.
The upcoming intake of the programme will see a significant increase in the number of candidates, doubling from 12 in the first intake to 26 graduates.
This expansion is aligned with the UAE government’s vision of fostering local talent and encouraging their growth in the private sector.
Dulsco actively collaborates with NAFIS, a government initiative aimed at sourcing Emirati talent.
The NAFIS website serves as a vital platform for attracting aspiring Emirati professionals to join Dulsco.
“Dulsco continues to set the benchmark for Emiratisation efforts,” David Stockton, Dulsco CEO added.
