The agreement signed with Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) aims to accelerate private sector recruitment, AD Ports Group will collaborate with Nafis to create 1,500 jobs per year.
“The achievements of Nafis in the past year bode well for the future,” Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of Nafis.
“The programme has firmly established its presence in the Emirati community and has been able to highlight to citizens the attractiveness and perks of working in the private sector and contributing to the realising the dreams of thousands,” he added.
The Nafis programme will “greatly accelerate the speed at which we can both identify these individuals and provide them with opportunities,” said Captain Mohamed Al Shamisi, managing director and group chief executive of AD Ports Group.
The cabinet approved a decision to raise Emiratisation rates to 2 percent annually for skilled jobs in private sector establishments with 50 or more employees and to achieve an overall rate of increase by 10 percent by 2026.
