“Connected homes are no longer a futuristic concept; they are realistically achievable today,” said Deyaar CEO Saaed Al Qatami.

“By entering into a five-year partnership with Huawei, we are enabling the provision of smart home and advanced technology solutions for residents in our properties across Dubai, which will be equipped with the latest network infrastructure, cloud-based safety, and smart solutions to provide an elevated standard of living for our customers,” he added.

The five-year MoU covers a number of areas, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) capabilities in properties including Mont Rose, Al Barsha Hotel, and Deyaar’s headquarters.

Additionally, as part of the MoU Huawei will develop technology for Deyaar’s Midtown residential project, and will implement Huawei CCTV video cloud solution to complement security in Deyaar properties.
