Danube Properties has announced that its sixth project – Glamz Residence – a AED300 million ($81 million) development in Dubai’s Al Furjan area targeted at the affordable housing sector has been sold out.

The project, which was launched last month, offers a selection of 418 studio, one- bedroom and two- bedroom apartments, each including a bed which can be tucked into the wall during the day.

The developer said in a statement that the project aims to support its “stop renting, start owning” push.

Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman, Danube Group said: “We thank all who have invested in our success, now and over the years.

“Almost everyone wants a home of their own and it feels good that we are here to help them in realizing their dreams through our affordable offerings.”

Danube said its first project Dreamz is on schedule for delivery while other projects – Glitz 1, Glitz 2, Glitz 3, Starz and now the Glamz – are all 4-5 months ahead of schedule, and all are 100 percent sold.
