Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi has died

The Emiri Court of Ras Al Khaimah has announced seven days mourning in the emirate from December 11, during which the national flag will be flown at half mast throughout the emirate.

The local government departments and institutions in the emirate will observe a three-day holiday starting from Friday, the court said.

The funeral prayers will be offered at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah shortly after the Juma prayers, the official news agency reported.

The burial will be performed at the Al-Qawasim graveyard.
