“We are honored to be the second hotel partner selected by NEOM Hotel Development to realise its vision of hospitality excellence of the future. GHM’s remit is to create an exceptional luxury sanctuary that will chart the course for this shared new future,” GHM chief executive officer Tommy Lai said.
Lai added: “The Chedi Trojena, a showcase of the region’s rich cultural and environmental heritage, is a perfect complement to our collection of unrivalled lifestyle experiences in the world’s most alluring destinations.”
The new hospitality spot will feature a combination of the kingdom’s history and Trojena’s futuristic style.
Additionally, the destination will feature “touchpoints”.
“The essence of GHM’s hallmark ‘A Style to Remember’ lies in its seamless delivery of 19 refined touchpoints of the group’s Guest Experience Signatures. Each touchpoint melds GHM’s mastery in accentuating contemporary Asian designs with local nuances for a pronounced sense of place, guided by six branded essences: timeless, elegant, personal, contemporary, authentic, and sensorial,” the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Trojena’s first guests will arrive in 2026. Construction at the site began on December 2022.
