Saudi Arabia launched a new digital platform to offer various services to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
The platform – named NUSUK – will offer more than 121 services to facilitate procedures for the arrival of pilgrims from all over the world, with easy and convenient procedures.
The new platform was launched by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah at the ‘Digital Government Forum 2022’ in Makkah on Thursday.
Al Rabiah said the new digital platform was launched with the aim of providing distinguished services to enrich the experience for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.
He said the platform would provide 75 services to the business sector, and about 45 services to the individual sector.
“The platform aims to provide its services to more than 30 million people, in cooperation with more than 10 thousand entities in the business sector, and linkage and integration with 25 government agencies,” the minister said.
The Digital Government Forum, held for the first time, is aimed at highlighting the achievements of various initiatives in the sector and also to discuss challenges and modern technical practices, besides reviewing future directions for government initiatives in the sector.
