UK-based coffee chain Pret A Manger has announced the opening of two new cafes in Dubai.
The UK favourite expanded its operations in the emirate with new branches in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)’s Index Mall and Bay Avenue Mall.
Pret A Manger already has three other shops in DIFC and Dubai International Airport Terminals 1 and 3. With five shops in Dubai, as of Tuesday, the coffee chain plans to open a further three new shops in the city by the end of 2023.
The new shops will serve a menu with a selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, and baked goods alongside barista-prepared drinks.
Growing demand for Pret A Manger
“Since we launched Pret in Dubai, the response has been incredible, so opening these new shops is a natural next step as we continue growing to meet demand from Pret fans across the city,” Eira Jarvis, Managing Director of Pret A Manger’s Asia operations, said in a statement on Monday.
To celebrate the opening of the new cafes, customers can look forward to some exciting goodies on opening day, including Pret merchanise, snack bars, and vouchers for complementary items.
Since launching in 1986, Pret now has 500 stories across 10 countries.
“From office coffee runs to pit stops for breakfast, lunch, or snacks, we’re excited to be bringing our freshly made food and organic coffee to even more people,” Jarvis added.
