Dan Company, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specialising in tourism, has signed a contract with Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Contracting Company to develop its first luxury resort destination in Al Ahsa.
The resort, branded under “Tuaja Luxury Resorts”, will offer three distinct experiences: Tuaja Premium Farm Resort, Tuaja Eco Resort, and Tuaja Adventure Resort.
The project, set to span 1.8 million square metres, will feature 201 accommodation units, including hotel rooms and high-end villas with private pools.
Signed at Dan Company’s Riyadh headquarters, the contract was executed by key executives including Abdulrahman Abaalkhail, CEO of Dan Company, and Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Tamimi, CEO of Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Contracting Company.
The project aims to showcase Al Ahsa’s natural beauty and cultural heritage while providing guests with comprehensive amenities including dining options, a farm-to-table experience, a luxury spa, a community centre, an event hall, and sports facilities.
Environmental sustainability is a core focus, with Dan Company seeking LEED certification and emphasising the preservation of the local environment and cultural traditions. The resort will blend modern sustainable practices with local heritage.

The development is expected to create jobs, boost the local economy, and elevate Al Ahsa’s status as a tourist destination. It represents Dan Company‘s first major project in the Kingdom, leveraging Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Contracting Company’s extensive experience in large-scale developments including Red Sea Global, NEOM and Qiddiya.
